First frost expected tonight

BROCKVILLE – After a mild day today (Thursday), it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Leeds-Grenville as the temperature is expected to hit near the freezing mark tonight (Thursday) under a clear sky – perfect conditions for frost.

This is around the time we should be expecting the first fall frost, according to the Old Farmers Almanac. It will also be time for gardeners to winterize their gardens after the frost hits.
