
BROCKVILLE – City police say they’ve interviewed everyone who was in Hardy Park the night 33-year-old Damian Sobieraj died.
Sobieraj died after going into the St. Lawrence River near the park on Thursday night (Sept. 13). His body was recovered by O.P.P. divers.
Now, police are looking for anyone who snapped pictures or took cell phone video in Hardy Park or nearby streets between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. that night. They are also appealing to business owners who may surveillance cameras pointed at the park.

Brockville police are working with the coroner’s office and the Ontario Center of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, presumably waiting on results of an autopsy.
“Brockville police also wish to pass on our thanks to members of the public for their cooperation and assistance with this investigation,” the force said in a news release Wednesday.
