JOHNSTOWN – A search will resume at daybreak (Friday) for a man in his 20s who jumped from the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge.
Grenville County O.P.P. say they have identified the victim as a 25-year-old man from Brampton, Ont.
Various law enforcement agencies on both sides of the border and fire departments held an exhaustive search of the St. Lawrence River Thursday night since 6:30 p.m. but were unable to find him.
A O.P.P. dive team will continue the search this morning (Friday).
The bridge between Johnstown, Ont. and Ogdensburg, N.Y. was closed for some time for a police investigation but has since reopened to traffic.
