SEELEY’S BAY – A gas station has been cordoned off by police this morning (Thursday) after an overnight break-in.

Leeds County O.P.P. Const. Sandra Barr tells Brockville Newswatch, it happened around 5 a.m. at the Ultramar on Highway 15 near County Road 32, about three kilometers east of Seeley’s Bay.

Barr said there were few details as the crime scene was “still so new” and officers were processing the scene.

Items were stolen from the gas station, Barr said. A window had been smashed to gain entry to the building.

“At this point, it’s a plea for members of the public if they did see something in that vicinity around that hour to give us a call or Crime Stoppers,” she said.

The O.P.P. phone number is 1-888-310-1122 and Crime Stoppers can be reached at 1-800-222-8477.
