PORTLAND – A man in his 30s – missing for over a day-and-a-half on a recreational trail near here – has been ‘located,’ Leeds County O.P.P. said Monday night.
Though police did not share the condition of the person – only that they had been found this morning (Monday) using an O.P.P. canine unit, the Emergency Response Team and a police helicopter.
The O.P.P. added that an investigation continues and they thanked members of the public for their help.
On Sunday, police had made a request via Twitter, asking for the public’s help in finding a 34-year-old man, last seen on the Cataraqui Trail near Cedar Valley Road in Rideau Lakes around 7 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 4).
His family had been concerned for his safety and well being.
