BROCKVILLE – Over 100 drivers were seeing red over the Canada Day weekend – it was lights flashing in their rear view mirrors.
Results from the Leeds County O.P.P. aggressive driving campaign between Friday and Monday saw 121 drivers charged with speeding.
In addition, four had their vehicles impounded after they were charged with stunt driving.
There were also 14 seat belt tickets and 68 other charges on roads and waterways over the long weekend.
Seven RIDE spot checks were also set up throughout Leeds County.
Police got 266 calls for service during the Canada Day weekend, which included 42 traffic complaints and 15 collisions.
