Fourth person to seek Conservative nomination in Leeds-Grenville

BROCKVILLE – A fourth face will be added to the Conservative nomination race in Leeds-Grenville, Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes.

Anne Johnston, a former aide to MPP Steve Clark, will announce her candidacy tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) at the Keystorm Pub in Brockville.

The Brockville-area resident is also a longtime campaign volunteer for Clark.

Johnston will join Lombardy native Stephanie Mitton, Edwardsburgh-Cardinal councillor Michael Barrett and Colin Brown – the nephew of the late MP Gord Brown – in the nomination race.

A nomination meeting date has not been set.
