PRESCOTT – The owner and operator of an Augusta Township retirement home will appear in court Tuesday to answer to a half dozen charges in connection to a sexual assault investigation.

Grenville County O.P.P. and the Grenville County Crime Unit started an investigation on March 27 after the alleged assaults were reported.

The acts are said to have occurred at the Green Acres Retirement Home on McCrea Road.

Robert Lunnie, 72, of Augusta Township has been charged with four counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual exploitation.

Investigators say they have identified two victims, one of whom is a current resident of the home.

Lunnie is being held for a bail hearing on Tuesday (May 29) in a Brockville court.

Police say the investigation is still open and anyone with information should call Detective Const. Theresa Baker at 613-925-4221.
