BROCKVILLE – The results are in from the O.P.P. Easter weekend seatbelt campaign in Leeds County.
Officers issued eight tickets between March 30 (Good Friday) and April 2 (Easter Monday) for people not buckling up while driving.
While seatbelt use was the targeted enforcement over the long weekend, there were also scores of other charges, mostly for speeding.
There were 137 tickets for speeding, two stunt driving charges and 13 hazardous moving violation charges, Leeds County O.P.P. said.
