BROCKVILLE – A Grenville County man was found not guilty last month of sex-related charges for alleged acts in the 1980s.

Robert Farnsworth of Merrickville-Wolford was acquitted on charges of gross indecency and sexual assault in a judgment delivered on Feb. 13, 2018, according to court records.

The charges were laid in October 2016 after a man came forward to Grenville County O.P.P., alleging he was sexually assaulted in 1986 and 1987.

Farnsworth, now in his early 50s, is the son of Charles Farnsworth, the late headmaster of Grenville Christian College.
