BROCKVILLE – Imagine having paperwork to arrest someone and you look up and they’re right in front of you!
It happened to one alert Brockville court officer Monday afternoon in the lobby of the courthouse at 41 Court House Square.
City police say the officer noticed a woman he knew and, at the same time, was holding an arrest warrant for her in his hand.
He quickly apprehended the female and a personal search also turned up some drugs, for which she is facing addition drug possession charges.
The woman, who was not named, was held for a bail hearing.
