BROCKVILLE – A personal support worker in her 20s is facing fraud charges after her employer discovered doctored invoices.

Police allege the 23-year-old had submitted fraudulent invoices for time worked as well as forging signatures on those documents.

The woman’s employer went to police investigators last Wednesday with the evidence it had collected.

The suspect has been spoken to by police and has been charged with two counts of fraud and one count of uttering a forged document.

Police did not say what the workplace is nor the name of the accused, who will appear in court in the new year.
