BROCKVILLE – A little change in plans has led a Brockville man to a $100,000 winfall.
“I’ve been playing the lottery for 20 years,” Robert MacLeod explained, while at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto. “I usually play Pro-Line, but the odd time I’ll pick up a ticket for a different game.”
He managed to match six of seven Encore numbers on his Lotto Max ticket from Dec. 1.
The 47-year-old father of two plans to pad his children’s education fund with some of the winnings and also buying a house.
“This win gives me a nice cushion,” he said.
The winning ticket was picked up at Shoppers Drug Mart on Parkedale Avenue.
