IROQUOIS – The expression “say cheese” had a double meeting Thursday for participants in a photo-op at Upper Canada Creamery.
It also signified the South Dundas dairy company’s expansion into cheese production – namely cheese and cheese curds – building on its specialty “farm to fridge” market.
The company is already known for its Biemond organic yogurt.
Upper Canada Creamery, which has been churning out product in August 2015, received $20,000 from the Cornwall and the Counties Community Futures Development Corporation through the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP) business expansion project.
With the production of organic cheese will be the addition of two staff.
