JOHNSTOWN – A section of the westbound Highway 401 is closed this afternoon (Monday) after a collision involving a couple of tractor-trailers.
East Region O.P.P. say the westbound lanes are closed at Highway 416 and traffic is being detoured via County Road 2 (as of 3:39 p.m.).
The crash involves two tractor trailers – one reportedly hauling fuel.
There is no fire or damage to the truck though there’s a report of a leak.
It’s not known when the section of highway will reopen.
