BROCKVILLE – While some areas of Eastern Ontario have been dealing with lots of rain, Leeds-Grenville has been below average.
Statistics provided to Brockville Newswatch by Environment Canada show 86.4 millimeters of rain fell in June – a month which normally has a long-term average of 92.9 millimeters.
Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says there were 14 days in the month of June where the region saw a measurable rainfall.
And how is July shaping up?
As of Friday (July 14) we had received 24.4 millimeters or about a quarter of the long-term average July rainfall (86.2 millimeters).
There has been rain 5 of the 14 days so far this month.
