Fair Jeanne sets sail for tall ships tour

BROCKVILLE ā€“ A sailing training vessel will be setting sail this afternoon (Monday) on a 56 day journey as part of a Canada 150 voyage.

Fair Jeanne will pull out of Tall Ships Landing Marina at 1 p.m. and head for Hamilton, taking part in the Great Lakes Flotilla for Canada Day.

After that, the sailing ship will travel east to Quebec City for Rendez-Vous 2017 Tall Ships Regatta, where she will also take part in the Guest Ports Programme in Atlantic Canada.

The training ship hosts crews of young teenagers and young adults, ranging in age from 12-24, depending on the voyage.
