KEMPTVILLE – North Grenville does not have anyone licenced to be performing door-to-door sales in the municipality, township officials said Friday.
This, as the North Grenville Emergency & Protective Services Department has received several complaints about high-pressure water filter salesmen.
There’s been a law on the books since 2015, requiring a municipal licence for people to be selling at your door.
If you’re approached to sign a contract, you should ask to see their licence, the township said.
If they can’t, report them to the bylaw department at 613-258-9569 extension 206 or the O.P.P. at 613-258-3441.
