BROCKVILLE – City police are teaming up with a local restaurant to help a brain tumor fighter.

Nine months ago, Hudson Fletcher, 9, was diagnosed with a rare condition called diabetes insipidus and then doctors later found tumors on Hudson’s brain.

He has been scheduled for surgery twice but it has been cancelled and now Hudson has to go through 12 weeks of chemo and radiation in Toronto.

Members of the Brockville Police Service have undertaken the “Team Hudson” fundraiser with Kelsey’s Restaurant to host a fundraising night on Wednesday (May 31).

For three hours, starting at 5 p.m., a portion of the proceeds from each meal will be going toward helping with the costs for Hudson’s treatment.

Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse is at 2465 Parkedale Avenue.
