GANANOQUE – Town police have released photos of man they believe has “vital information” in an ongoing criminal investigation.

The image shows a man entering the Tim Hortons coffee shop at 713 King Street East in Gananoque, Ont. before he leaves the store and jumps into a four-door sedan.

Gananoque police did not say when the still images from security footage were taken, but decorative snowflakes in the picture would suggest it was sometime around the Christmas or holiday season.

Police say the person of interest got into the passenger side of the vehicle.
