TINCAP – A middle-aged passenger in a vehicle has died after a crash Sunday, north of Brockville.
Sixty-two-year-old Floyd Salmon of Elizabethtown-Kitley Township died at hospital after the vehicle he was riding in went in the ditch on Ferguson Drive.
Police say he was suffering from a form of, what appeared to be, medical distress.
The driver, 78-year-old Raymond Irish of North Augusta, was also taken to hospital in Brockville and was treated for minor injuries.
Leeds County O.P.P. say weather played a factor in the crash, which happened around 1 p.m. Sunday. The region was being hit by a snowstorm at the time.
Ferguson Drive is a short secondary street in the Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley Business Park.
This is the third road death this weekend in Leeds-Grenville. Two people were killed Friday afternoon in a head-on crash west of Gananoque.
