GANANOQUE – Another alleged victim of church organist Brian Lucy has come forward, leading to another set of charges against the Gananoque man.

Gananoque police say the additional victim was identified before Lucy was to make an appearance on Jan. 26, 2017 on new charges that were laid in December 2015 – three months after he went to prison.

“Additional evidence was brought forward at the preliminary inquiry pertaining to the new allegations,” police said in a statement.

These latest assaults are said to have happened in the early 1990s. The 68-year-old is facing one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation.

Lucy is already in prison, serving a five year sentence imposed in October 2015.

The charges laid in December 2015 were in relation to alleged assaults in the late 1970s and early 1980.

The matter is being heard in the Superior Court of Justice in Brockville.

Gananoque police say the investigation is still ongoing.
