MALLORYTOWN – Provincial police managed to stop a drunk driver Sunday who was travelling the wrong way on Highway 401.
Leeds County O.P.P. say they received calls from “numerous citizens” just before 4 a.m. about a vehicle travelling east in the westbound lanes, near Mallorytown.
Officers managed to stop the driver without incident, west of Brockville.
A 38-year-old Kingston man will appear in a Brockville court next month on charges of dangerous driving and impaired driving.
