PRESCOTT — A local man is facing a half dozen charges after getting into a alcohol-fueled scuffle with police where an officer was hurt.
Grenville County O.P.P. were called around 1 a.m. on Monday (Jan. 16) for a disturbance on Edward Street in Prescott.
Police say the 25-year-old suspect got violent with their officers, one of whom had minor injuries following the arrest.
A Prescott man is charged with causing a disturbance, being intoxicated in a public place, resisting a police officer, assaulting a police officer and two counts of failing to comply with court orders.
He was held for an appearance in Brockville bail court.
