Survey extended ahead of North Grenville summit

KEMPTVILLE – If you have an opinion about the rural way of life in North Grenville and the priorities the municipality should have, you have more opportunity to speak up.

The Municipality of North Grenville has extended its deadline for public comment ahead of its first Rural Summit next month.

The municipality launched the online survey in September with an original deadline of this Friday (Oct. 14) but that has been extended another week to Oct. 21.

You can find the survey here.

North Grenville is looking for “valuable input into the topics and areas of interest that will be discussed at the summit.”

The survey asks questions about moving council meetings to rural areas, how people get updates about municipal news and how the township can improve communications.

The meeting on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 is in response to the 2013 Community Strategic Plan adopted by council at that time.
