Correction: This story has been corrected from an earlier version to clarify that the speeder was driving his bosses vehicle, not the police officer.
BROCKVILLE – His boss will probably forgive him for being late – but he will have some explaining about where the vehicle is.
Brockville Community Safety Officer Mark Heffernan tweeted Wednesday night, he was going for gas when a driver blew by him going 153 kilometers an hour.
It happened on an area road with a 100 kilometer an hour speed limit.
Heffernan caught the speeder, who was driving their boss’ vehicle. The driver had their driver’s licence suspended and their vehicle impounded under Ontario’s street racing law.
