FRONT OF YONGE – A man in his 20s is facing numerous charges after O.P.P. officers caught a vehicle on Highway 401 going 80 kilometers over the speed limit.
The driver was stopped late Sunday night along a stretch of the freeway in Front of Yonge Township, where he was also arrested for impaired driving.
A 22-year-old man from Belleville is facing criminal charges of impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample.
In addition, he faces Highway Traffic Act charges for stunt driving, driving without insurance and driving with open liquor.
The man will appear in a Brockville court next month.
