BROCKVILLE – Two men from New Brunswick have been arrested after a vehicle crashed on Highway 401 near the on-ramp to Stewart Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
When police arrived on scene of the single vehicle crash, the people in the car had fled the scene.
The next morning (Wednesday) police were called about a couple of pedestrians on Highway 401 and they later learned the two were actually the men in the crashed vehicle the day before.
The vehicle had also been reported stolen from New Brunswick.
Two men – ages 19 and 22 – are facing charges of possession of stolen property.
