BROCKVILLE – The developer of a set of condominiums on Millwood Avenue wants to change the next phase of development to townhouses.

The city’s planning committee recommended the plan Tuesday night, which will go to a full council vote next week.

The SweetWater Homes development, on the corner of Magedoma Boulevard, had originally called for two, three-storey buildings with 12 condo units in each.

But, with a tough condo market, the developer wants to instead build four townhouses on the north side of the property, marketed for older adults.

Other than some concerns about property setbacks, the change will likely go ahead.
