Update: The severe thunderstorm watch has ended.
BROCKVILLE – The hot, muggy weather today may produce some intense thunderstorms across Leeds-Grenville.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the region around 3 p.m.
It says the conditions are right for some dangerous thunderstorms that could pop up late this afternoon and tonight, producing damaging winds, hail and heavy rain.
