GANANOQUE – A booze-fueled fight between a man and a group of people had led to a number of serious charges.
Gananoque police were called to the municipal marina, south of Rotary Beach, late Saturday night (July 23) last week.
By the time officers arrived, the accused was being held back by several of his friends and the people the man had a fight with had already left.
After police investigated, the police force announced Friday (July 29) they had arrested and charged a 47-year-old Gananoque man with assault with a weapon, two counts of uttering death threats and one count of uttering a threat to kill an animal.
He was held for a bail hearing.
