CROSBY – An upset driver, pulled over for excessive speeding, called police to complain about his treatment – by police.

Leeds County O.P.P. say they stopped a vehicle on Highway 15 late last night (May 26) after catching it on radar going 56 kilometers an hour over the speed limit.

The car was impounded for a week and the 20-year-old Toronto man’s licence was suspended for the same amount of time.

But the situation didn’t end there as O.P.P. say the upset man then called 911 twice to complain that he was not being driven the Kingston like he requested.

“He was told he would be driven to a safe place in Smiths Falls. Eventually he did agree to go to Smiths Falls,” police said in a statement.

As for his charges, the man will appear in a Brockville court in July.
