Police hunt for Brockville Freshii burglar

BROCKVILLE – City police are hunting for a man who broke into the Freshii restaurant early Sunday morning.

Police say the burglar got into the restaurant at 2539 Parkedale Avenue through a rear door around 4 a.m.

A quantity of cash from a cash register was taken and the machine was broken in the process.

The thief was in the store around five minutes before he left. He came back an hour later to trying an break into a floor safe, but he couldn’t get into it, police said.

He left the crime scene around 5:15 a.m.
