BROCKVILLE – A Brockville man is facing child pornography-related charges after police searched a home in the city last month.

O.P.P. say their Child Exploitation Unit conducted an online investigation in January 2016, which resulted in the search of a home in the city the following month.

Officers seized a thumb drive, cell phone and a computer. A police lab in Orillia found evidence of child pornography after a forensic examination.

O.P.P., with the help of Brockville police, arrested 32-year-old Gary Daye-Church yesterday (March 30).

He is facing one charge each of possession of child pornography, making child pornography available and accessing child porn.

He is scheduled to appear in a Brockville, Ont. court today (March 31).

Police say the investigation is still open.
