JOHNSTOWN – Firefighters were battling a fully involved structure fire near the Edwardsburgh-Cardinal Industrial Park, west of Johnstown.
Firefighters from Edwardsburgh-Cardinal and Prescott were called to 110 Commerce Drive around 11:30 p.m. for signs of smoke coming from a building.
The building houses Team Industrial Services – a company that deals in industrial cleanup, according to Ministry of Environment licencing information. The company is headquartered in Markham, Ont.
It’s on the same street that has Greenfield Ethanol.
Water was being shuttled to the scene from fire hydrants in Prescott.
The fire caused extensive damage of the metal clad building with three garage bay doors.
There’s no word on a cause.
