Brockville police deal with one accident during storm

BROCKVILLE – It looks like drivers in and around the city were able to weather the snowstorm that hit the area Tuesday.

City police only had to deal with “one minor motor vehicle accident” during the storm that dumped 40 to 45 centimeters of snow.

Police dealt with more calls concerning people having trouble travelling down certain streets, as city works crews tried to clear the deluge of snow.

“Other than difficulties with traffic flow in some areas, we were incident free,” Staff Sgt. Todd Bertrend said.

As the cleanup continues, Bertrend is reminding drivers to leave extra room between their vehicle and others in front of them.
