NORTH AUGUSTA – Provincial police are closing in on a suspect after some sort of mischief last summer at the Wheels A Churnin mug drags.

Grenville County O.P.P. released an image Thursday (Feb. 11) of a suspect they were trying to identify from the event on July 25, 2015.

Less than a day later, police said the suspect had been identified and more information would be released after their investigation is over.

Investigators released no other information on the nature of the mischief.

It was on the same weekend that the event was marred by injury when two people were hospitalized after an ATV crash.

The Wheels A Churnin races in July are held at Augusta Motorsport Park in Augusta Township and draw participants from across North America.
