BROCKVILLE – City police were able to pick up a suspect, wanted by the court, after he was found staggering in traffic.
Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 3) for a report of a man stumbling off the sidewalk into the live lanes of King Street West near the Kingston bridge.
They weren’t able to find him right away but a suspect matching his description was found two hours later on King Street.
The 54-year-old man was on probation and had release conditions for outstanding charges, which included living at the address he had given the courts, Brockville police said.
The man was arrested and then released with a new court date.
