WIARTON, Ont. – Wiarton Willie is the odd ball out, after seeing his shadow this morning.

The rodent is predicting another six weeks of winter, despite the mild temperatures.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania’s Punxsutawney Phil failed to see his shadow and predicted an early spring.

It was the same for Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam. He’s also in the good books, forecasting an early end to winter.
