Child porn bust at Lansdowne border

LANSDOWNE – Border agents and provincial police have nabbed a man coming into Canada with child pornography on his computer.

CBSA agents searched a vehicle on Jan. 14 and found a laptop computer they say had videos of child sexual abuse.

The O.P.P. Child Sexual Exploitation Unit was then called in to help in the investigation and the computer was seized.

Officers arrested Andre Delage, 30, of Ascot Corner, Que.

He is charged with importing child pornography and possession of child pornography, as well as three charges under the Customs Act dealing with the material.

Delage will appear in a Brockville court Friday (Jan. 22).

Ascot Corner is 160 kilometers east of Montreal, Que.
