Rash of dog thefts has cops concerned

BROCKVILLE – Provincial police are concerned about a recent number of thefts of dogs in the area.

Leeds County O.P.P. say the thefts have happened in Leeds and Renfrew counties, Napanee and South Frontenanc County over the past few months.

In many cases, the pets have been snatched or gone missing while outside by themselves.

Police suggest you keep an eye on your pet while he or she is outside and report any suspicious activity to the local police service at 1-888-310-1122.
