BROCKVILLE – It seems the snow may have helped Brockville police get their man – or men in this case.
Officers were called to a street in the south end around 4:30 a.m. this morning (Dec. 29) for reports of a couple men going through vehicles.
“With the aid the weather, police tracked the two males to a south end apartment complex,” Staff Sgt. Todd Bertrend said.
The two men, both 25-years-old, were charged with theft and one of the men was charged with failing to abide by a probation order.
Police are still trying to find the rightful owner of an iPhone, seized during the arrest, as well as anybody who has stuff missing from their vehicle in the southwest portion of the city.
