WINCHESTER – There’s a new member of the medical team at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Kelly Goodwin has joined the hospital as part of the OB-GYN team.

“Our maternity program is growing every year and we’re happy to have Dr. Goodwin on board,” CEO Cholly Boland said.

Goodwin was trained at the University of Ottawa and has worked at the Ottawa Hospital, Queensway Carleton and Montfort.

She will also be delivering babies at WDMH.

“I wanted to begin my practice in Winchester because I like the friendly, community feel,” Goodwin said. She also likes the welcoming atmosphere.

Her clinic will be at the Rideau Crossing Family Health Center in Kemptville in addition to seeing patients at the Winchester hospital.

She is already accepting new patients, according to the hospital.
