KEMPTVILLE – Developing the Leeds-Grenville economy will be the focal point of a summit here on Friday.
The all-day event is being led by the Leeds-Grenville Economic Development Office, in partnership with MP Gord Brown, MPP Steve Clark and the 1000 Islands Region Workforce Development Board.
The event at the North Grenville Municipal Center will have various workshops for attendees on entrepreneurial growth, tourism and attracting investment to the Rideau Canal.
An economic development leadership award will be handed out as well.
There will also be a state-of-economic-development update from Ann Weir, economic development manager for the United Counties of Leeds-Grenville.
