PRESCOTT – Talk about adding insult to injury.
A 19-year-old Cornwall woman was charged Sunday after a domestic dispute on King Street around two in the morning.
Grenville County O.P.P. say a woman called 911 about being assaulted with an axe.
Police later learned the complainant was actually the victim – she had been swinging the tool and hit herself during an altercation with another female.
She will appear in a Brockville court to answer to a charge of assault with a weapon.
