Heat warning for Leeds-Grenville

BROCKVILLE ā€“ It’s a scorcher out there!

Environment Canada issued a heat warning for Leeds-Grenville around 3:20 p.m. for an area from Westport to Kemptville and Gananoque to Brockville.

It says a really warm air mass is blanketing the southern half of the province with highs in the low 30s, not including the humidity.

It’s expected to continue through Thursday.

You’re asked to watch out for signs of heat illness which can include dizziness, nausea, headache, rapid breathing and heartbeat and dehydration.
