
MALLORYTOWN – Police in the Durham region are asking you to be on the lookout for a senior who may be headed to Ottawa and was last seen in Mallorytown.
O.P.P. said Uwe Reher, 80, left his home in Oshawa yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) on his way to a doctor’s appointment but never made it there.
Police say he suffers from dementia and other medical issues and the family is concerned for his safety.
He was last seen around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday filling his car with gas in Mallorytown, said police.
Reher is five foot nine inches tall, 240 pounds, with thin, gray hair. He has a tattoo of an anchor on his left forearm and has a thick German accent.
