One could forgive Ray Scott for not jumping over the moon when someone approached him to discuss the possibility of using the Front of Yonge ball diamonds. Scott, the township’s recreation committee chairman, had been taking care of the dormant fields for about eight years and had talked to people in the past about using the diamonds with no takers.
