BROCKVILLE – The Brockville-area and much of the Thousand Islands region could expect some heavy rain tonight (Tuesday).
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for much of the region, including Prescott, Gananoque, Mallorytown, Kemptville, Westport and Charleston Lake.
It says localized heavy thunderstorms will move through the area and we could see 20-30 millimeters of rain during heavy downpours.
An unstable airmass is moving through the region though it’s not expected to break the heat and humidity we’ve been experiencing.
