BROCKVILLE – It’s going to be a scorcher this Canada Day long weekend.
Environment Canada issued a heat warning around 3:20 p.m. today (Friday).
Temperatures on Saturday and into next week are expected to be in the mid-30s and, with the humidity, it will feel like the mid-40s.
The weather agency says there will be “little relief from the heat” with overnight lows in the low 20s.
Vulnerable people, such as young children and the elderly, are advised to take it easy this weekend and to drink plenty of fluids.
